Thursday, May 14th 2009 4:44:51pm
Today, the Ontario legislature passed Bill150. Better known as the Green Energy and Environment Act, Bill 150 will help protect consumer rights by mandating home energy efficiency audits at point of sale. Having this information will allow home buyers to make an educated purchasing choice.
Stephen Koch, Executive Director of NAIMA Canada, is very knowledgeable about issues of energy efficiency, construction and green building.
Mr. Koch can provide commentary on:
• How the proposed home energy audits will benefit both home sellers and buyers
• The benefits of a home energy audit process
• The true costs of the home energy audit process to consumers
• How home energy audit information will be used to save energy and money
