One of the company’s newer products, the solar pergola, can serve as a solid cover to provide shade for a patio, or as a carport to protect vehicles. At the same time, it produces clean electricity and can generate attractive revenue under the microFIT program. For electric vehicle owners Green Sun Rising offers the carport solution with an integrated electric charging station.
Green Sun Rising is located at 1680 Kildare Road.

"We are excited to have over 60 great hosts sharing their stories during Green Energy Doors Open," says Kristopher Stevens, Executive Director of OSEA. "Sustainable energy has the power to drive Ontario's prosperity. These amazing folks are showing us how."
Green Energy Doors Open encourages all users, producers and advocates of sustainable energy to open their doors in order to raise awareness, understanding and support for sustainable energy by providing people with the opportunity to visit, see, touch and talk about the projects in their own backyards.
